Kyle West is an experienced litigator specializing in First Amendment defense, complex litigation, and regulatory enforcement defense.
In representing his clients, Kyle draws on his experience in a broad array of matters including First Amendment defamation and reporter’s privilege cases; complex environmental enforcement and citizen suit defense; trademark cases; Privacy Act cases; director and officer liability and indemnification disputes; police misconduct cases; and various tort and contractual disputes. He also has experience with a variety of federal environmental and public lands statutes, including the Clean Water Act and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA).
Kyle began his career with United States Department of Justice’s Honors Program, where he served as a trial attorney in the Department’s Torts Branch and gained first-chair trial and appellate experience.
